The winners of the National import substitution prize “Priority-2015” were announced yesterday at the official award ceremony at the National Pushkin Museum in Prechistenka Street. The Research and Development company “Relational Expert Systems” (RELEX)
won a laureate diploma in the “High Technology” nomination for its flagship product, RDBMS Linter.
This annual contest covering over 20 fields of the Russian economy is aimed at intensive development of import substitution and forming the image of Russia as the world’s major producer of competitive goods and services.
According to the organizing committee, 305 applications for 19 nominations were submitted by companies from 41 regions of the Russian Federation and Belarus.
Linter is the only commercial DBMS fully developed by a Russian company in the Russian Federation. The system is compliant with the data storage security requirements from the “top secret” level to the “state secret” level. DBMS Linter is certified by the Russian FSTEC and Ministry of Defense. It is the only general-purpose DBMS of this class fully certified as compliant with Class 2 information security requirements and Level 2 of undeclared capabilities absence control.
DBMS Linter is used by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rosatom State Corporation, Surgutneftegaz, the Moscow Regional Ministry of Economy, “Morinformsystem AGAT” Concern, Diasoft Group etc.
